Precinct

This building was the temporary resting house prepared by the Aichi Prefectural Government for the Emperor Meiji and used by His Majesty on his way back from Kyoto in 1878. This is dedicated by Mr.Shintaro Nohara to the Atsuta Shrine in commemoration of Meiji Centenary. The wooden building with two stories and roofs was removed from Shonai Park in Nishi Ward to this shrine and reconstructed in October, 1968.
