Festival

In the reign of Emperor Tenchi (668 A.D.) the sacred sword was once transferred to the Imperial House, but it was soon brought back to this shrine. All the parishioners then rejoiced at the return of the sword, shouting "O-ho-ho !" Eyoudo Shinji is a festival to commemorate this event and is also known as "O-ho-ho Festival" or "Rejoice Festival."
